Maori Language Week

We had a competition for our Computer Club girls to celebrate Maori Language week. We gave them the following list and asked them to translate and get digital pictures on their cell phones . First one wins… Imagination counts…
tūru tina hū rangi tēpu wai pātiki rōpū Kaiako pirīwheke īmēra arawhata

We also asked for three pictures of three signs used in the school that used the Maori language.

The girls were engaged, it was fun and we learned a few more Maori words.
