Softball

SoftballWEGCI have been away for a week as Teacher In Charge(TIC) of the Wellington East Girls College Softball Team. I knew nothing about softball last week but in a few short days have gained an appreciation of the skills, tactics and strategies involved in playing the game to win. My sporting vocabulary has also been enhanced somewhat (Favorite word bunting). Fantastic coaching and management volunteers (and some parents) accompanied the team; who did very well coming second in the National competition.

Try watching softball sometime, you won’t be disappointed. BUT, go with someone who can explain what is going on for the first few innings.
