The Wellington NZACDITT Committee, with the help of a Vic uni graduate, is organising an ‘Unconference’. This is a participant-led conference that is typically low cost, requires minimal administration and is without a fixed agenda. While the focus is on Senior Digital technology teachers those with a particular interest or able to contribute are welcome (No vendor pitches however).
The ‘Unconference” aims to provide efficient and relevant professional development for senior Digital Technologies teachers in the Wellington region. We are our own best resource. The agenda would not be set in advance, however, it could range from teaching Level 3 Python to promoting Digital Technologies as a subject. Participants on the day decide, so come knowing what you want from the day.
Proposed date of ‘Unconference’: Friday 2 May 2014 – the last Friday of the April holidays. The holidays begin with Easter, so this allows people to still go away for a holiday.
Please email the organiser, Khristo Bruce (firstname.lastname@example.org) so he can gauge numbers.
