I received my dog re-registration letter a couple of days ago. No problem, I will pay straight away and forget about it. (If you don’t pay and forget it is a 50% penalty). I assumed payment via Internet banking unit I read the small print; in essence when you have made payment, you enter the date of payment onto the remittance advice and post it back to WCC.
Really? Why? Might as well just write a cheque. Can’t the Wellington City Council work it out by reconciling payments and reference numbers back to invoices – that technology existed 30 years ago.
