One of my smart young students sent the following to Tesla (both NZ and US factory)

Kia ora,

We are a small group of senior I.T student from Wellington, New Zealand planning a trip to Silicon Valley to visit leading I.T companies. We want to visit your Fremont Factory during our trip.

My family owns some shares in your company (I made them buy them). It would be an incredible experience to visit your factory, it would give the whole group an incredible insight into the industry and to add a world leader in sustainable transport and technology.

We are very excited about the release of your next car and expansion of charging coming to New Zealand.

Ka kite ano,
And their reply……………….

Thank you for your interest in visiting us at the Tesla Factory in Fremont!  Currently, our tour program is only available for Roadster, Model S and Model X owners.  It is not open to Model 3 reservation holders, shareholders, or the general public at this time.

If you are a current Tesla owner, please reply to this email with the following information: -First and last name associated with your vehicle

-Your VIN, RN, or the email address that is linked to your MyTesla account

Once we verify your ownership, I can assist in scheduling your tour.

Due to the overwhelming tour demand, we will not be able to respond if you’re not a current Tesla owner.  However, just like you, we are eager to for the chance to show off our amazing factory and will notify you once it is available to the public.  Thank you for your understanding and support.

Anyone purchased a Tesla recently?
