Too hot? When do you send students home?

There was an item on TV3 The Project recently, looking at temperatures in classrooms and the fact that classrooms are getting hotter, and typically have NO air conditioning… (climate change no doubt). Anything over 25degrees  is theoretically too hot, 35 is extreme. However, there are no standards regarding when the temperature and humidity is so challenging that we should send students home. After all, can you realistically work in temperatures of even 30 degrees? To make matters worse modern buildings have no opening windows and non-cooling air circulation systems…

Frankly, I think it is a health and safety issue post 30 degrees if it breaks the limit everyone goes home… (or gets ice blocks)
